Privacy policy

Last updated 18 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use techytal.com or get in touch with us, why we collect it, and the choices and rights you have.

Who we are

techytal.com is run by Techytal Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company no. 17421712), registered office 17 St Lukes Crescent, Leeds LS11 8LA, United Kingdom. Techytal Ltd is the controller of personal information collected through this website.

We also operate in Nigeria through Techytal Design Agency LTD (RC 1903234), 1 Isedo Street, Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. If you deal with our Nigerian company, it is the controller for that relationship.

For anything about your personal information, email hello@techytal.com.

What this policy covers

This policy covers techytal.com only. Our products — Kendri, SCPASE and Washday — run on their own websites and have their own privacy policies.

Information we collect

When you contact us. If you email or phone us, we receive your name, contact details, and whatever you choose to tell us. We use this to reply, and, if we go on to work together, to provide our services.

Analytics, only with your consent. If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: the pages you visit, how you arrived (for example, from a search engine or another site), your device and browser type, and your approximate location (city or region). Google Analytics does not give us your name or contact details. If you reject analytics cookies, or don't make a choice, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.

Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information about requests to the site — such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time — to keep the site running securely.

Your cookie choice. We remember whether you accepted or rejected analytics in your browser's local storage, so we don't ask on every visit. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Cookies

techytal.com sets no cookies unless you accept analytics. If you do, Google Analytics sets these cookies:

CookiePurposeExpires after
_gaGoogle Analytics — tells one visitor apart from another2 years
_ga_<ID>Google Analytics — keeps track of the current visit2 years

If you accepted analytics and then follow a link from techytal.com to kendri.co.uk, scpase.co.uk or washday.online, a Google Analytics identifier is added to the link so that the visit can be measured across our sites.

You can change your choice at any time with (also in the footer of every page). If you withdraw consent, we delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.

Our legal basis

  • Consent — for analytics cookies. You can withdraw it at any time.
  • Legitimate interests — to reply to your enquiries and to keep the website secure.
  • Contract — where you become a client, to provide the services we've agreed.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site and our business:

  • Google, which provides Google Analytics (only if you consent)
  • our web hosting provider
  • our email provider, which handles messages you send us

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

International transfers

Our team works across the UK and Nigeria, so an enquiry you send may be handled by colleagues in either country. Google may process analytics data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where personal information leaves the UK, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as adequacy regulations (including the UK–US data bridge) or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries — for up to two years after our last contact, unless we go on to work together, in which case we keep records for as long as the law requires.
  • Analytics — no longer than 14 months, after which Google Analytics deletes visitor-level data.
  • Server logs — for the limited period our hosting provider keeps them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) — and, in Nigeria, the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 — you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • correct information that's wrong or incomplete
  • delete your information
  • restrict or object to how we use it
  • send your information to you or another organisation in a portable format

To make a request, email hello@techytal.com. We'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or in Nigeria to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission at ndpc.gov.ng.

Children

techytal.com is meant for businesses and organisations, and isn't aimed at children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Questions? Get in touch.
